In response to sustained growth and evolving needs in the childcare sector, the pop e poppa servicefamille group is announcing a new governance structure. This strategic change aims to consolidate its leadership position in Switzerland while maintaining high-quality services.
The objective of this new organization, which includes an established management team and a strategic committee, is to drive the continuous improvement of the group’s service quality and strengthen its role as an ambassador for the industry. This committee will also play a central role in developing strategic partnerships.
a new ceo
As of January 1, 2025, the group will welcome Myriam Filali as CEO. Her extensive experience in retail and the early childhood sector in Luxembourg, coupled with her strategic vision and dynamism, will help consolidate and expand the group’s activities in Switzerland. Myriam Filali's 13 years with the Swiss Valora Group, including 6 years as CEO in Luxembourg, further enhance her strong profile. Regarding this appointment, Frédéric Baudin stated: “I am confident that Myriam Filali will embody the values that have made us successful while opening up new opportunities.”
To support this new direction, Frédéric Baudin, co-founder of the group, has been appointed Vice-President of Strategy and Development. His role will focus on promoting out-of-home childcare to federal and cantonal authorities and within industry associations.
Meanwhile, Frédéric Chave, also a co-founder, becomes Vice-President of Market and Strategic Partner Development. He will be responsible for maintaining trusted relationships with the group’s partners while exploring new development opportunities.
This approach reflects the group’s commitment to ensuring a smooth transition and preserving the quality of services that have been the cornerstone of its success for over two decades.
a future-oriented vision
With its renewed governance, the pop e poppa servicefamille group is reaffirming its mission as a leader in the industry: supporting children in their development and assisting families with innovative, high-quality services (familizy, pop e poppa, Allegra). With the support of its many partners – municipalities, businesses, and organizations – and the dedication of its 1,500 employees, the group continues to build a future where every child can thrive and grow in a high-quality, safe environment while developing their autonomy with the help of passionate professionals.
